Terms.
The terms for brands and creators, in one place.
Pilot and standard fees
The fee is 20% of creator spend. Crossway Influence opened in October 2026, so the first two clients get pilot terms.
Standard: minimum fee $1,000.
The shortlist shows the fee in dollars for those picks, and the order form fixes it. It changes only if you add or drop a creator: by 20% of that creator’s price (on standard terms, never below the $1,000 minimum).
Included: the shortlist, dates, briefs, draft checks, disclosure checks, tracked links and the report. You get the report 30 days after the last sponsored post goes live. Not included: creators’ fees (you pay them directly), paid ads, video production.
Free shortlist in 2 business days. Crossway Influence runs at most two campaigns at a time and makes five free shortlists a week. If either is full, you get a start or delivery date within one business day.
When you’re invoiced
Pilot: invoiced at month end, only for sponsored posts that went live.
Standard: 50% when you sign, 50% once the last sponsored post is live (or once the others are, if one is cancelled).
Each invoice is due in 14 days.
If a sponsored post doesn’t run
Pilot: a sponsored post that doesn’t go live is never invoiced, or a replacement is booked at no extra fee.
Standard: that creator’s share of the fee comes off the second invoice. If that leaves a balance, it’s refunded or kept as credit, your choice. Or a replacement is booked at no extra fee.
The $1,000 minimum applies only if at least one sponsored post runs.
Creator names
Newsletters are named on the shortlist, since their rates are public. YouTube and LinkedIn creators are the research you pay for, so they’re named once you sign the order form. You then have 2 business days to drop anyone at no cost.
The 12-month clause
Once you sign an order form, every creator Crossway Influence has named to you, in a shortlist or on the order form, counts as introduced. That holds whether or not you keep them. A free shortlist on its own creates no obligation.
If you book an introduced creator within 12 months other than through Crossway Influence, you pay a 15% introduction fee, no minimum. Creators you already work with aren’t affected, as long as they’re listed on the order form.
On pilot terms, rebooking a creator who ran in the pilot carries no fee.
For creators: you never owe Crossway Influence anything or have to route anything through it; that fee is between it and the brand. If a brand contacts you directly, book as normal. Brands you’d worked with before joining aren’t affected.
Who signs what
You sign a short order form. It lists the creators and fixes the fee.
Crossway Influence prepares each creator agreement as a short agreement (one page of details): dates, deliverable, disclosure, what happens if it doesn’t run. After the order form is signed, it goes to you and the creator through OpenSign.
A creator gets the signing link only after saying yes by email, and it’s announced first in their email thread. Signing needs no account or password; OpenSign may email you a one-time code.
You hold the creator agreements. If Crossway Influence can’t finish a campaign, they stand on their own. Any fee for unfinished work is refunded.
Paying creators
Creator payments never pass through Crossway Influence. You pay each creator directly, at the rate they quoted. Newsletters are paid through their own booking page. YouTube and LinkedIn creators are paid against an invoice under the signed agreement.
At least 50% within 7 days of signing the creator agreement; the rest within 7 days of going live. Check your finance team can meet that.
A creator’s price is never marked up. Each creator invoices you with a W-9, or a W-8BEN (W-8BEN-E for a company), collected by Crossway Influence. If a brand pays late, it’s chased and no longer booked.
Missed dates
Each YouTube and LinkedIn agreement covers a missed date. If the post misses its window, the brand chooses. Either the post moves to a date both agree within 30 days, or the creator refunds everything paid within 14 days.
If the brand causes the delay (late product access, late approval or late payment), the creator keeps what’s been paid and the window moves. Newsletters reschedule under their own booking terms, chased by Crossway Influence.
Disclosure
Every sponsored post is labelled the way the platform and US and EU law expect.
- On YouTube: the “Includes paid promotion” setting plus a spoken mention at the start of the segment.
- On LinkedIn: the Brand partnership label plus “Sponsored by” and the brand’s name in the first line.
- In newsletters: “Sponsored” at the top of the slot.
- Creators outside the US also follow their local rules, such as “Ad” in the UK.
Crossway Influence checks the label in every shared draft and again on the day it goes live, and keeps a copy of every sponsored post. If anything slips, the creator fixes it within 48 hours of being told, and you hear the same day.
Currency, tax forms and vendor setup
Crossway Influence invoices in USD or EUR, by bank transfer, with a W-8BEN.
It can go through your vendor onboarding: your NDA, your vendor portal. Changes to the short order form are welcome.
